Experience a fun-packed educational day at Dreamworld or Whitewater World

What is Bilby Talk?
A bilby talk allows students to be actively involved with a conservation issue.  Students learn about the plight of the bilby in the wild and how they can make a difference by being involved in the Save the Bilby fund. The talk is delivered in the Australian Wildlife Area and covers content on the Bilby food chain and what can be done to help save the bilby.  Students get to see a real bilby! What is Back of House Tour?
A Back of House Tour is a unique experience for students to see behind the scenes in a ‘real live’ zoo.  The tour is delivered by experienced Wildlife Officers and includes the opportunity to see the food preparation area and the Vet hospital and an insight into how the animals are looked after and cared for. Students are able to ask questions throughout the tour.

What is a Wildlife/Tiger CareerTalk?
Your students can now come and talk directly to a Wildlife Officer or Tiger Handler. If your students have ever wondered what it is like to be a Wildlife Officer helping to look after 500 animals or a Tiger Handler on Tiger Island this is their chance.  This talk enables students to obtain an insight into the duties/tasks of these roles, qualities, skills, education and experience required to enter this industry and have a successful career.  Come and see for yourself the passion they have for conservation of our wildlife.

What is a Tourism Talk?
A tourism talk is a classroom style presentation delivered in our Education Room. Covers content on Dreamworld/WhiteWater World as a tourist destination and target market. What is a Marketing Talk?
A Marketing talk is a classroom style presentation delivered in the Education Room and covers content on marketing strategies used to promote Dreamworld/WhiteWater World. An Excursion booklet on this topic is also available. Contact the Education Department on (07) 5588 1108 for more information.

What is a OHS Talk?
A OH & S talk is a classroom style presentation delivered in the Education Room covering information on how Dreamworld/Whitewater World implements OH & S in a theme park environment. What is a Hospitality Talk?
The Hospitality talk commences with a classroom style presentation delivered in the Education Room then depending on the group size a quick tour of one of the food and beverage outlets. Includes information on how food is prepared and product menu offerings for our food and beverage outlets.

What is a Indigenous Talk?
An Indigenous Talk is an educational program delivered in our Australian Wildlife Area.  This program is delivered in conjunction with our local Yugambeh Museum (dedicated to researching and promoting the traditional language and knowledge of the Yugambeh region of south east Queensland.
 
What is an Australian Wildlife Enrichment Talk?
An Australian Wildlife Enrichment talk is delivered in our Wildlife Area and discusses the enrichment for our wildlife such as  birds, tasmanian devils, wombats, tigers and snakes. Students can come and learn how to design an enrichment for one of our wildlife and then test it!

What is a Crocodile Talk?
A Crocodile talk is an exclusive talk conducted at our Australian Wildlife Crocodile enclosure – home of Goliath and Matilda.  The talk covers educational information on crocodiles including their habitat, diet and reptile characteristics, breeding habits and life expectancy. What is a Sheep Shearing/Whip Cracking Talk?
Roll up to the Woolshed and meet a real Shearer.  This exclusive talk just for your class covers the shearing of sheep and the art of whip cracking and its uses. Students are able to ask questions in a unique experience.  Talk to our Education Department to tailor the talk to your needs.
