Dreamkids Healthy Habits - NEW PROGRAM
This fun new self directed program exposes students to
healthy lifestyle concepts through the exploration of physical
activity, sun safety and healthy eating while at WhiteWater World or
Dreamworld. Students study the concepts and propose initiatives that
could be implemented to promote healthy and balanced lifestyle choices
for guests.
Physics
Dreamworld offers some of the most thrilling examples of real physics in action! Centripetal forces fling students high into the sky, gravity pulls them into free-fall trajectories and the wonders of electricity and magnetism power the whole process. Students can use accelerometers made at school or commercially available data loggers housed in safety vests to investigate the many examples of physics in action at Dreamworld. Comprehensive student activity books can be found below. Teacher answer books are available upon confirmation of your excursion to Dreamworld.
