How to use Q4U
Simply rent a Q4U from Dreamworld’s Q4U Shop or online and pay for the specific number of people to be included. The Q4U display screen, helps you check availability times for each of the 11 rides and using the toggles you can reserve up to six people for a ride queue.
The 8 simple steps:-
1 – Rent Q4U
2 – Select your ride using the Q4U’s buttons
3 – Receive your ride time, via Q4U
4 – Explore the park.
5 – Go to the ride at (or after) allocated time
6 – Enter via the Q4U entrance
7 – Enjoy the ride!
8 – Repeat for your next ride
Enjoy more of the park! While Q4U is waiting for your ride use your free time to play games, see shows, eat lunch, browse for souvenirs in the shops or wait for another ride with a shorter line.

Q4U is only available in Weekends and Holidays.
Get more action into your day, with Dreamworld’s new virtual queuing system, Q4U. Q4U is an Australian theme park first and only available at Dreamworld.
What is Q4U?
Q4U uses a small handheld device that enables guests to make ride reservations, one at a time from anywhere in the park which reserves them a spot in the queue virtually. It means you can try other rides, catch a show, or visit a restaurant, all while knowing that the Q4U system is holding your “virtual” spot in the queue line.
How much is it?
Q4U has a rental fee and per user fee.
Per user Fee is $10 per person registered to use Q4U.
Rental Fee per unit is $15.
- Q4U is only available in Weekends and Holidays.
- A maximum of six people may be registered per unit.
- A $50 deposit or credit card imprint is required for Q4U. This is refundable on return of undamaged Q4U at the end of the day.
- Tip: Total price for 4 people would be $55 (Rental Fee $15 + 4 x User Fees $10).
