5 May: Good and Bad News! Jake & Mischka are heading off back to Canberra Zoo from May 9 but on May 16 Achilles and Agamemnon will be coming to the Lair at Dreamworld. They will be here until July 11 so come and say G'day to these 220kg White Lions!

22 March, 2011: Got some construction pictures to share of the White Lions Lair
15 March, 2011: Most folks would not know this but White lions are not albino lions they have pigment visible in the eyes, paw pads and lips.. Instead, the white color is caused by a recessive gene known as chinchilla or color inhibitor. As a result “white” lions range from blonde through to near white and the males have pale manes and tail tips instead of the usual dark tawny or black. 14 March, 2011: It's been a busy few weeks at Dreamworld with the new Lair being built to house our new friends Jake & Mischka. So far so good. Hoping they are going to like it as much as we are going to enjoy having them here.
22 February, 2011: For those wondering how active Jake & Mischka are. They are still are only 3.5yrs old, still in an adolescent stage and as such are really playful and active. Could not help but notice the Brisbane Times had an article out on Jake & Mischka.
1 February, 2011: Well the cats are out of the bag. Our friends at Goldcoast.com.au published an article on the White Lions coming to Dreamworld. Looking forward to having them and we are building a really cool spot for them while they are here.
