Cider House Tech and Dreamworld, proudly present, the second annual Physics Day.

Dreamworld offers some of the most thrilling examples of real physics in action! Students can explore centripetal forces, gravity, electricity and magnetism on some of the tallest and fastest thrill rides in the world.

Cider House Tech, the Australian distributors of PASCO scientific equipment are the major datalogging partner with amusement parks across Australia. Not only can Cider House Tech provide science equipment they also provide curriculum for these days. Written by one of the authors of the new Pearson Physics books for the new Queensland curriculum.

The day is open to Year 10, 11 and 12 students studying Physics. You will have access to all open rides, with information and demonstration booths supported by Cider House Tech and Pearson Publishing. Cider House tech will also provide professional development on data collection.

Students can use their smartphones with the world leading free SPARKvue app’ to track their results and used in association with the worksheets developed by Dreamworld and Cider House Tech. Schools can reserve datalogging equipment by completing the request form on the Cider House Tech website.
