Guests with medical conditions or disabilities

At Dreamworld and WhiteWater World, we want to make sure that everyone’s day with us is as full of happiness as possible. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries or disabilities are recommended to visit our Park Health Facility, located at Dreamworld Entry building (Map Reference G8) or WhiteWater World (Map Reference Q9) prior to presenting to our attractions. The building is inside the park and any of our friendly Guest Services Team Members can direct you there. One of the key roles of our team is to assist guests to plan their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely.

Accessible Parking

Reserved Disabled parking is available in the Southern end of rows A and J of our carpark, for guests whose vehicles display a Disability Parking Permit. These spaces are clearly marked with the International Disabilities Symbol.

Admission Price

We offer a discounted admission rate for guests with:

Physical disabilities requiring the use of a wheelchair.

Intellectual, aural or visual disabilities.

Carers (conditions apply - please see below* for details).

Discounted admission rates are available for purchase at the ticket booths only on the day of visit upon the presentation of a State or Commonwealth issued Disability Pension Card. Please advise the cashier when purchasing admissions tickets to receive the discounted rates.

Carer Admission*

Guests who produce a Companion Card (http://www.companioncard.gov.au/) are entitled to one (1) free of charge companion ticket so that their companion can provide attendant care support during the visit.

Guests who produce a Carer's Card (or similar) issued by relevant State or Commonwealth authorities (as opposed to a Companion Card) will be entitled to a discounted admission rate.

Visit with a Companion

Guests with a physical disability may consider visiting the park with someone who can physically assist them if necessary. Discounted admission prices for the carer of a guest who has a physical disability are available at the ticket booth upon request (conditions apply, please see above).

Park Health Facility

Paramedics, Registered Nurses and Park Health Team are based at Dreamworld and WhiteWater World Park Health Facility(Dreamworld - Map Reference G8, WhiteWater World – Map Reference Q9). Any personal medical equipment, for example ventilators, may be stored and used at our Park Health Facility. Park Health does not supply such equipment for everyday use. Medication which requires refrigeration may also be stored at the Park Health Facility.

Restrooms

All main restrooms have facilities designed for access by wheelchairs.

Wheelchair Hire

A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available for hire at Guest Services (Dreamworld – Map Reference I9. WhiteWater World – Map Reference S9) for a minimal $4 cost. We strongly recommend pre-booking with Guest Services by calling (07) 55881111.

Guide, Hearing and Assistance Dogs

Guide, Hearing and Assistance Dogs are welcome in our park. Service Animals are allowed in most locations throughout the park with the exception of some restricted areas. We ask that dogs wear their working vest identifying their role at all times. Please call in and see Guest Services on the day of you visit for more detailed information, or contact us on (07) 55881111

Guests using a Wheelchair

For your enjoyment and convenience, all of our shopping and dining facilities are wheelchair accessible via ramps. Also, many of our shows and main street entertainment have areas reserved for guests with disabilities. Additionally, there are specific boarding requirements and accommodations for those using wheelchairs at most attractions.

Casts, Braces or Supports

Guests with a cast, brace or support on one or more limbs will be restricted from riding rides where the cast, brace or support may present a hazard to the guest or others or reduce effectiveness of ride restraints as situations vary, our Park Health Team assist guests with a disability, strapping or bandages to a limb to plan their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely. If your day will be impacted we do offer special discounts. Please speak with our Guest Services Team when you arrive.

Guests with an Amputation or Prosthesis

For safety reasons, guests with an amputated limb or prosthesis may be unable to use some of our attractions. As situations vary, our team can assist guests to plan their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely. Please visit Dreamworld and WhiteWater World Park Health Facility (Dreamworld - Map Reference G8, WhiteWater World – Map Reference Q9) prior to presenting to our attractions. Our Attractions Ride staff are not qualified to assess accessibility for the rider and will kindly ask you to present to our Park Health Facility for details and allocation of an Attractions Pass. *See Attractions Pass for more detail.

Guests with Epilepsy and Motion Sickness

Some of our attractions are not recommended for guests with epilepsy, motion sickness or those who experience seizures. Guest with medically related dietary requirements

Guests who require specific medically related dietary requirements can bring in their own food upon presentation of supporting medical documentation, or call 0755881111 for more information.

Attractions Pass

To make your visit with us as simple as possible, our team will provide you with a detailed Attractions Pass. This pass will ensure the rest of your day is as seamless as possible. The Pass is valid for 6 months from date of issue, so you only have to come and visit us once, unless you like us, and then drop in as often as you like.
