When is my initial payment taken?

Payments may take up to 24hrs or the next business day to process. Please ensure sufficient funds are in your account to avoid any dishonour fees.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  You will only receive your e-ticket/s to gain entry to the Park/Venue once initial payment has been accepted/processed.  Public Holidays may extend the processing time by your bank to grant this approval and therefore access to the Park.

How do I purchase a Membership?

How do I book my Screamworld Tickets?

Your allocation of Screamworld tickets can only be issued at the Membership and Pass Centre within Dreamworld upon presentation of a valid Membership card.
Screamworld tickets are limited and subject to availability. Your allocated Screamworld ticket cannot be sold, exchanged or transferred to another person and will only be valid for entry upon presentation of Membership card with the Screamworld ticket on the relevant night. Your entry ticket must be collected by the Member in person.

What happens when my child turns 14?

Where a Dreamworld Member who holds a Child Membership turns fourteen (14) years of age during the minimum term (12mths) or during any renewal period, the Membership held by that Child Member will be automatically be updated to an Adult Membership following the expiry of the Minimum Term or, if the Minimum Term has expired, the expiry of the then current renewal period. The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Membership Fee payable by the Purchaser will also be updated at this time to reflect the change in the nature of the Membership held by the Member.

When does my Membership expire?

Each Membership will continue for the Minimum Term of 12 months from the date you join, and will automatically renew on a month to month basis thereafter at the then current monthly rate. To verify the details of your Membership please call DebitSuccess 1800 123 978.

How to I change my payment frequency?

Dreamworld offers monthly and upfront payment options for Memberships. To change your payment frequency or the day in which your payment is withdrawn, please call DebitSuccess 1800 123 978. Please ensure you have your Membership number handy before you call.

Can I cancel my Membership during my 12-month contract?

All new Memberships will continue for the Minimum Term of 12-months from the date you join. No cancellations are possible within the minimum contract period. Unless cancelled, memberships will automatically renew month-to month with hassle free monthly installments. Membership may be cancelled anytime following the initial minimum contract period with 30 days' notice.

To cancel a membership please contact DebitSuccess, our membership payment processing partner, notifying them of your intent to cancel via 1800 123 978. You will receive an intent to cancel confirmation email with details on the cancellation process via email. After 30 days and all payments have been received your Dreamworld Membership will be cancelled.

Who is DebitSuccess and why am I getting information from them about my Dreamworld Membership?

Dreamworld has appointed DebitSuccess to administer Memberships and collect Membership Fee payments on its behalf. DebitSuccess will be the first point of contact for Purchasers and Members in relations to payment matters.

How do I get my Member benefits?

With the purchase of a Dreamworld Membership, you will gain access to exclusive member-only benefits saving you money all year round. Once you activate your membership and get your Membership card (via the Dreamworld Membership and Pass Center, located near Tiger Island or at SkyPoint) you will be able to start saving right away.

Your Membership card is your access to great savings throughout the park. As a Member you are entitled to a range of discounts on Food and Beverages, Surf wear, Retail outlets, Billabong Restaurant, Photographics and more. So make sure you show your Membership card to save.

If your Membership is in arrears/defaulted you will not be eligible to claim any member benefits including Screamworld night events.  

Terms and Conditions

Dreamworld Membership Agreement     

1.  General Terms

1.1.    This Agreement sets out the terms and conditions governing the contractual relationship between the Purchaser, the Member and Dreamworld.

1.2.    Where a Membership is purchased for, or on behalf of, a Member, the Purchaser:

1.2.1.Agrees to be bound by this Agreement and the Direct Debit Agreement;

1.2.2.Warrants and represents that he or she has provided the Member with a copy of this Agreement; and

1.2.3.Agrees to be liable for any breach of this Agreement by the Member.

1.3.    By purchasing or using a Membership, each Member agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

1.4.    Where a Membership is purchased by an adult for a Member who is a minor, the Purchaser warrants that he or she is the parent or authorised guardian of the relevant minor and agrees to bind the minor to, and ensure that the minor complies with, this Agreement.

1.5.    Memberships may only be purchased by Purchasers who are Australian residents.

 

2.     Membership Term and Automatic Renewal

2.1.    Each Membership will continue for the Minimum Term and will automatically renew on a month to month basis thereafter at the then current monthly rate unless the Membership is terminated by the Purchaser or Dreamworld under clause 8. 

 

3.     Dreamworld’s Rights and Obligations

3.1.    Whilst the Membership remains current, and provided that the Purchaser and Member comply with all of their obligations under this Agreement, Dreamworld will provide the Member with the Membership Benefits.

3.2.    Dreamworld will issue each Member with a membership card and a unique membership number.

3.3.    Dreamworld reserves the right to amend the Membership Benefits from time to time by updating those benefits on its Website or contacting either the Member or the Purchaser by email provided that any such amendment does not materially decrease the aggregate retail value of the Membership Benefits.

3.4.    Dreamworld may restrict or limit access to any part of its Facilities, rides or attractions on a temporary or permanent basis where Dreamworld deems it prudent to do so for special events or for safety, operational or weather related reasons.

3.5.    Dreamworld may reduce or extend the operating hours of its Facilities from time to time.

 

4.     Member’s Rights and Obligations

4.1.    Whilst the Membership remains current, and provided that the Purchaser and the Member comply with all of their obligations under this Agreement, the Member shall be entitled to the Member Benefits.

4.2.    If requested by Dreamworld, the Member must produce a valid form of photographic identification to allow Dreamworld to verify the Member’s identity.

4.3.    In order to redeem any of the Member Benefits and to access the Facilities, the Member must also produce a valid membership card.

4.4.    The Member agrees to comply with the then current conditions of entry that apply to each of the Facilities. The current conditions of entry for each Facility are available on the Website.

4.5.    The Member is responsible for the membership card issued by Dreamworld. Membership cards remain the property of Dreamworld at all times. In the event that the Member loses his or her card either the Purchaser or the Member may request a new card and Dreamworld will replace the card in exchange for payment of a $5.00 replacement fee.

 

5.     Debitsuccess

5.1.    Dreamworld has appointed Debitsuccess to administer Memberships and collect Membership Fee payments on its behalf. Debitsuccess will be the first point of contact for Purchasers and Members.

5.2.    By purchasing a Membership, the Purchaser agrees to enter into a contract directly with Debitsuccess on the terms of the Direct Debit Agreement.

6.     Payment

6.1.    Dreamworld offers monthly and upfront payment options. In consideration of Dreamworld agreeing to provide the Member with a Membership, the Purchaser agrees to pay the Membership Fee by one of these payment options.

6.2.    In addition to payment of the Membership Fee, the Purchaser shall pay Debitsuccess a joining fee of $9.95 at the time that the Membership is initially Purchased.

6.3.    Payment in Full – Where the Purchaser elects to pay the Membership Fee up front and in full, the Purchaser agrees that:

6.3.1.The Membership Fee must be paid to Debitsuccess in clear funds at the time that the Membership is purchased; and

6.3.2.Following the Minimum Term, the Membership shall continue on a month to month basis and the Purchaser shall be bound by the terms that apply to payment by instalments.

6.4.    Payment by Instalments – Where the Purchaser elects to pay the Membership Fee by way of monthly instalments, the Purchaser agrees:

6.4.1.To pay the Membership Fee Instalments to Debitsuccess by direct debit in accordance with the terms of the Direct Debit Agreement and at the agreed payment frequency until such time as this Agreement is terminated in accordance with clause 8;

6.4.2.That Debitsuccess is entitled to debit the Purchaser’s nominated account or card for each Membership Fee Instalment due under this Agreement;

6.4.3.To ensure that the Purchaser’s nominated account or card contains sufficient funds to satisfy each Membership Fee Instalment due to be paid by the Purchaser;

6.4.4.To immediately notify Debitsuccess if there is any change to the Purchaser’s nominated account or card; and

6.4.5.That Debitsuccess is entitled to enforce Dreamworld’s rights under this Agreement as if it were Dreamworld.

6.5.    Changes to the Membership Fee:

6.5.1.The Purchaser agrees that Dreamworld may increase or decrease the Membership Fee at any time after the Minimum Term by providing the Purchaser with at least one (1) month’s written notice of the change to the Membership Fee.

6.5.2.If the Purchaser is dissatisfied with the change in the Membership Fee, the Purchaser may terminate this Agreement by providing Dreamworld with written notice of termination not more than fourteen (14) days after the date on which Dreamworld provided the Purchaser with notice of the change to the Membership Fee. Where the Purchaser provides Dreamworld with written notice of termination under this clause, this Agreement will terminate on the date on which the change to the Membership Fee was due to take effect.

6.5.3.Where a Member who holds a Child Membership turns thirteen (13) years of age during the Minimum Term or any renewal period, the Membership held by that Member will be automatically updated to an Adult Membership following the expiry of the Minimum Term or, if the Minimum Term has expired, the expiry of the then current renewal period. The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Membership Fee payable by the Purchaser will also be updated at this time to reflect the change in the nature of the Membership held by the Member.

6.6.    All payments which are to be made by the Purchaser under this Agreement are to be paid in Australian dollars.

6.7.    The Purchaser’s payment obligations are not conditional on the Member utilising the Member Benefits.

 

7.     Purchaser and Member Acknowledgments

7.1.    The Purchaser and the Member acknowledge and agree that:

7.1.1.The scope of the Member Benefits is limited to those items which are expressly identified and included in the Member Benefits; and

7.1.2.Dreamworld offers a variety of services, rides, attractions and experiences at the Facilities which are not included in the Member Benefits and which will attract an additional fee if the Member chooses to utilise such services, rides, attractions or experiences.

7.1.3.Memberships, membership cards and Membership Benefits cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.

 

8.     Default and Termination

8.1.    Dreamworld or the Purchaser may terminate this Agreement or cancel a Membership:

8.1.1.With immediate effect by notice in writing if the other party fails to comply with its obligations under this Agreement;

8.1.2.With effect upon the expiry of the Minimum Term by providing the other party with at least one (1) month’s written notice of termination prior to the expiry of the Minimum Term; or

8.1.3.In circumstances where the Minimum Term has expired and the Membership has been automatically renewed, by providing the other party with written notice of termination at any time in which case the effective date of termination shall be one month from the date of the next scheduled direct debit payment.

8.2.    Where the Purchaser defaults in its payment obligations under this Agreement the Purchaser agrees that Dreamworld and/or Debitsuccess shall be entitled to:

8.2.1.Terminate this Agreement in accordance with clause 8.1.1;

8.2.2.Suspend the Member’s access to the Membership Benefits until the default is rectified;

8.2.3.Notify any debt collection agency of the default;

8.2.4.Charge the Purchaser a $50 fee to cover Dreamworld and/or Debitsuccess’ internal costs of dealing with the default; and/or

8.2.5.On-charge all costs and disbursements reasonably incurred by Dreamworld and/or Debitsuccess in collecting any debt due by the Purchaser.

8.3.    Where Dreamworld exercises its right to terminate this Agreement under clause 8.1.1, any unpaid portion of the Membership Fee shall be immediately due in full.

9.     Privacy

Dreamworld will collect the personal information of the Purchaser and each Member in order to administer Dreamworld’s membership program and for the other purposes disclosed in Dreamworld’s privacy policy. Personal information collected by Dreamworld will be used and disclosed in accordance with Dreamworld’s privacy policy, a copy of which is available at www.dreamworld.com.au/general/privacy-policy. The privacy policy also contains information about how individuals can access their personal information that is held by Dreamworld and complain about a breach by Dreamworld of the Australian Privacy Principles. The Purchaser agrees that Dreamworld may share the Purchaser’s personal information with Debitsuccess to enable Debitsuccess to collect payments due to Dreamworld by the Purchaser under this Agreement.

 

10.Liability

10.1.Under the Australian Consumer Law, Members are entitled to the benefit of the non-excludable Consumer Guarantees that apply to the provision of both goods and services. Dreamworld will ensure that the goods and services supplied or provided to the Member in accordance with this Agreement comply with these Consumer Guarantees.

10.2.The Purchaser and the Member will not be entitled to a refund of the Membership Fee (or any part thereof) unless Dreamworld has failed to comply with the Consumer Guarantees or is otherwise required by law to provide a refund.

10.3.Where it is fair and reasonable for Dreamworld to limit its liability, Dreamworld’s liability for any failure to comply with the Consumer Guarantees shall be limited to (at Dreamworld’s option):

10.3.1.    In the case of goods, to resupplying those goods or paying the cost of repairing or replacing those goods; and

10.3.2.    In the case of services, to the resupply of the relevant services or payment of the cost of resupplying those services.

10.4.To the extent permitted by law, Dreamworld shall not be liable or responsible to the Purchaser or the Member for any direct, indirect or consequential injury, loss or damage to the Member or the Member’s property except where such injury, loss or damage is a direct result of a negligent act of Dreamworld or a failure by Dreamworld to comply with the Consumer Guarantees (in which case clause 10.3 will apply).

11.Amendments to this Agreement

11.1.Dreamworld may amend this Agreement from time to time by providing the Purchaser with at least one (1) month’s prior written notice of the amendment.

11.2.In the event that the Purchaser is dissatisfied with the amendment, the Purchaser may terminate this Agreement by providing Dreamworld with written notice of termination not more than fourteen (14) days after the date on which Dreamworld provided notice of the amendment under clause 11.1. Where the Purchaser provides Dreamworld with written notice of termination under this clause 11.2, this Agreement will terminate on the date on which the amendment proposed by Dreamworld was to take effect.

12.Enquiries

12.1.The Purchaser and the Member agree to direct all membership related enquiries to Debitsuccess. Debitsuccess may be contacted by phone on 1800 148 848 or by email at [email protected].

12.2.Any requires relating to the Facilities are to be directed to Dreamworld. Dreamworld may be contacted by phone on (07) 5588 1111 or by email at [email protected].

13.Miscellaneous

13.1.Assignment – Dreamworld may assign its rights and obligations under this Agreement to any purchaser of the Facilities. The Purchaser and the Member are not permitted to assign their respective interests in this Agreement or the Membership to any other person.

13.2.Notices – Any notice under this Agreement which is required to be in writing may be provided by way of email to the email address nominated by the relevant party. The Purchaser and the Member must direct any notices under this Agreement to Debitsuccess  at [email protected] and quote the relevant membership number.

13.3.Contact Details – The Purchaser and the Member agree to immediately notify Dreamworld and Debitsuccess of any change to the contact details previously provided to Dreamworld.

13.4.Governing Law – This Agreement is governed by and construed according to the laws in force in the State of Queensland and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state.

13.5.Severance – If at any time any provision of this Agreement becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable under the law of any jurisdiction that provision shall be severed and will not affect or impair the legality, validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement.

13.6.Entire Agreement – This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Dreamworld, the Purchaser and the Member in respect of everything connected with the subject matter of this Agreement and supersedes any prior representations, understandings, agreements or arrangements connected with that subject matter.

 

Definitions

Adult Membership means a Membership held by a Member who was at least 13 years of age at the time the Membership was purchased or last renewed.

Agreement means this membership agreement.

Child Membership means a Membership held by a Member who is less than 13 years of age at the time the Membership was purchased or last renewed.

Consumer Guarantees means the non-excludable consumer guarantees contained in the Australia Consumer Law set out in Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Debitsuccess means Debitsuccess Pty Ltd (ACN 095 551 581) of PO Box 577, Mount Waverley VIC 3149.

Direct Debit Agreement means the document entitled ‘Terms and Conditions of the Debitsuccess Direct Debit Request (DDR) Service Agreement’, a copy of which is attached to this Agreement.

Dreamworld means Ardent Leisure Limited (ACN 104 529 106) trading as Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint of 1 Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera QLD 4209.

Facilities means Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint.

Member means the person nominated as the holder of a Membership by the Purchaser at the time that the relevant Membership was purchased.

Membership means the type or class of membership offered by Dreamworld and acquired by the Purchaser which entitles the Member to access the Membership Benefits.

Membership Benefits means Dreamworld providing the Member with access to those goods, services and benefits attributed to the type or class of Membership held by the relevant Member. The Membership Benefits are itemised on the member benefits page of the Website and are accessible at www.dreamworld.com.au/memberships.

Membership Fee Instalments means the instalment amounts applicable to the Membership Fee payment option elected by the Purchaser at the time of purchase or renewal (or the then current monthly instalment amount where the Membership has been automatically renewed) and includes any variation to those amounts made in accordance with this Agreement.

Membership Fee means the fee charged by Dreamworld as at the time of purchase or renewal for the type or class of Membership and payment option selected by the Purchaser and includes any variation to that fee made by Dreamworld in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

Minimum Term means a period of 12 months commencing on the date that the Purchaser purchased the Membership. Where the Purchaser elects to renew a Membership by paying the Membership Fee for a further 12 months upfront and in full, any reference to the Minimum Term will be taken to be a reference to the 12 months commencing on the date that the Purchaser renewed the Membership.

Purchaser means any person who purchases a Membership.

DEBITSUCCESS - DIRECT DEBIT REQUEST (DDR) SERVICE AGREEMENT

1.        INITIAL TERMS

The Purchaser agrees that Debitsuccess will debit the Purchaser's nominated account for the amounts and at the frequency of payments agreed between the Purchaser and Dreamworld

2.       CHANGE OF TERMS

In the unlikely event that the initial terms are to change, they can only do so in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.

3.       DEFERRING OR STOPPING A PAYMENT

Should the Purchaser wish to defer a payment to another date, the Purchaser must contact Debitsuccess before the date of that payment to request the deferment. Deferments are entirely at the discretion of Debitsuccess and will depend on the length of deferment, the current state of the Purchaser's account and the Purchaser's past history. The Purchaser may request Debitsuccess to stop an individual payment however the Purchaser will still be liable to make this payment by some other method or the Purchaser's account will become overdue

4.       ALTERING THE SCHEDULE

Should the Purchaser wish to alter the payment frequency or day to debit, the Purchaser may contact Debitsuccess. Debitsuccess will consider any request of this nature received from the Purchaser and may, in its discretion, elect to make the requested changes. There may be a fee charged for this service. Any changes made will not affect the total amount payable by the Purchaser over the Minimum Term.

5.       CANCELLING THE PAYMENTS

The Purchaser may cancel this Direct Debit Request Authority by requesting this of Debitsuccess or the Purchaser's bank. Cancellation of the authority to debit the Purchaser's account will not terminate the Agreement or this Direct Debit Service Agreement or remove your liability to make the payments that the Purchaser is liable to make under the Agreement.

6.       DISPUTES

If the Purchaser disputes any debit payment, the Purchaser must notify Debitsuccess immediately. Debitsuccess will respond to the Purchaser's dispute within 7 working days and will immediately refund the amount of the debit if Debitsuccess is not able to substantiate the reason for it. If the Purchaser does not receive a satisfactory response from Debitsuccess to the dispute raised by the Purchaser, the Purchaser may contact his or her financial institution who will respond to the Purchaser with an answer to the Purchaser’s claim within 5 business days if the claim is lodged within 12 months of the disputed drawing, or within 30 business days if the claim is lodged after 12 months from the disputed drawing.

7.       NON WORKING DAY

When the day to debit falls on a weekend or public holiday the debit will be initiated on the next working day.

8.       DISHONOURED PAYMENTS

It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that on the due date clear funds are available in the Purchaser's nominated account to meet the direct debit payment. Should the Purchaser's payment be dishonoured Debitsuccess will debit an additional $10 with the Purchaser's next payment and may, if it has not received instructions to the contrary from the Purchaser, debit both the current due payment and the now overdue payment(s) on the same day. Debitsuccess may debit other fees or costs involved with debt collection in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

9.       ENQUIRIES

The Purchaser agrees to direct all enquiries to Debitsuccess, rather than its financial institution, and to submit such enquiries at least 1 working day prior to the next scheduled debit date.

10.   YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to the Purchaser's other obligations, the Purchaser is responsible for ensuring that his or her nominated account is able to accept direct debits. If it is not, it is the Purchaser's responsibility to provide Debitsuccess with a new account number.

11.   PRIVACY

The Purchaser's account records and details will not be disclosed to any outside person or entity except in accordance with the Agreement and where such information is required in connection with any claim for an alleged incorrect or wrongful debit.

12.   INTERPRETATION

Any capitalised term in this Direct Debit Service Agreement which is not defined bears the meaning assigned to that term in the document entitled Dreamworld Membership Agreement.
