Get ready, get set and run for a fantastic cause at Dreamworld's 2024 Fun Run Sunday 4th August!

Make FUN RUN memories and register for our 5km Fun Run supporting LIVIN, or the 2km Junior Dash supporting Guide Dogs Queensland, where you'll weave through Dreamworld & WhiteWater World and enjoy plenty of entertainment along the way! Two Running Options

You can choose to register for either our 5km Fun Run that starts at 6:30am, or the 2km Junior Dash that starts at 7:30am.

Dreamworld's 5KM Fun Run

The 5km Fun Run supporting LIVIN is open for all ages* and will snake around both Dreamworld and WhiteWater World, with plenty of entertainment and excitement along the way.

  • Starting at Dreamworld's main entry from 6:30am,
  • Wind through WhiteWater World,
  • Head through Dreamworld's themed precincts,
  • Take a trip to Tiger Island,
  • Wave hello to our Aussie wildlife,
  • Meet some Guide Dogs pups, experience foam, water pistols, colour and more! And then...
  • Finish at the iconic Dreamworld Globe

*Children under 11 must be accompanied by a registered parent/guardian for the 5km fun run.

2km Junior Dash (3 - 13 yrs)

Run, skip, or walk... The 2km Junior Dash supporting Guide Dogs Queensland is heaps of fun for the little ones* (or the young at heart), with plenty of joy to be seen weaving through the park’s themed kid's areas.

  • Starting at Dreamworld's main entry from 7:30am,
  • Wind through WhiteWater World,
  • Snake through Dreamworld's kid's precincts,

Valid Dreamworld Annual Passholders receive an additional $5 off their registration cost!
Simply select the Passholder registration option, enter the QTY to register & enter your Annual Pass barcode or Visual ID number.

Fun Run FAQs

  1. The 2023 Dreamworld Fun Run will be held on Sunday 4th August 2023 from 6:30am.

  2. At least 45 mins prior to your category start time and you must collect your bib before race day.

    5km Fun Run - Race starts at 6:30am.
    Participants are encouraged to arrive for check-in from 5:45am

    2km Junior Dash - Race starts at 7:30am.
    Participants are encouraged to arrive for check-in from 6:45am

  3. 5km Fun Run - Children under the age of 11 are required to be accompanied by a fully paid and registered parent and/or guardian for the duration of the 5km fun run.

    2km Junior Dash - A parent and/or guardian does not need to be registered to run with a child in the Kids (3-13yrs) 2km Junior Dash but will not receive a keepsake Fun Run finishers medal, only the registered child will.

  4. Bibs must be collected before race day.

    Dates and times for bib collection will be announced closer to the event. 

    Please have a personal ID or your eTicket handy for bib collection.

  5. Yes, bag storage will be available.

  6. Your registration fee will help us cover the administrational costs of your entry, your entry bib, your finisher medal and some of the event’s staffing.

    Plus, $5 from each registration is donated directly to our charity partners, LIVIN or Guide Dogs Queensland.

  7. Yes, all fun run results are preliminary when you cross the finish line but can be accessed immediately. Approximately 2 hours after the event completion you can access your official result and download an eCertificate.

  8. Yes, our event photographers code all action shots according to your race bib number which makes accessing your photos easy. Photos will be available for viewing after the event has concluded.

  9. Yes, we encourage all participants to get into the spirit and dress up for the event.

    Prizes will be up for grabs for the best dressed!

  10. Yes there is a water station along the course.

  11. The start line is located outside Dreamworld's front entry gate.

  12. The finish line is located in the WhiteWater World park adjacent to Dreamworld.

  13. Absolutely, you can fundraise for LIVIN or Guide Dogs Queensland using your own online fundraising page.

    Simply, head to the LIVIN Fundraising page or the Guide Dogs Fundraising page, register your account, and share your link with family & friends to donate!

  14. The Dreamworld Fun Run will go ahead rain or shine.

  15. Yes, family & friends of registered participants are welcome to spectate the event. Please note spectators will only be permitted in designated areas.

  16. Yes. Green Bean Coffee Co, Churros stand, Bite Me Café in WhiteWater World and some select external vendors will be available with food & beverage for purchase.

  17. Yes, however, a valid entry ticket is required. 
    Valid Annual Passholders are able to visit using their pass as normal.

    Registered Fun Run participants will receive a code by email the day before the race to upgrade their Fun Run entry to a Locals Annual Pass for a discounted rate using their registration details.

  18. Yes, we have stacks of freebies & prizes up for grabs on the day.
