Where is WhiteWater World?

Located in Queensland at the northern end of the Gold Coast right next door to Dreamworld. It’s centrally located and easily accessible from Brisbane and Surfers Paradise. Getting to the park is easy! Choose from a variety of transport options including bus, coach, rail or car. For further details see Location & Transport.

When is WhiteWater World open?

WhiteWater World is open every day of the year, except Christmas Day (25/12) and ANZAC Day (25/04). Hours may be extended during Summer and reduced in Winter.

What's with the weather?

Beautiful one day, perfect the next! The Gold Coast enjoys a balmy subtropical climate making it a popular destination for holiday makers from Australia and around the world. The average day-time temperature during Spring and Summer (September to February) is 28 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius in Winter (June to August).The Gold Coast is one of the sunniest destinations in the world with almost 300 days of sunshine each year!

Is it too cold to come in winter?

WhiteWater World's rides, slides and pools are heated during winter. Wind structures have been included on all ride queues providing extra comfort for guests.

What about safety? Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

At WhiteWater World guest safety is our number one priority. The rides and attractions are designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Height and weight restrictions have been placed on some rides and guests must adhere to safety signage throughout the park. A team of highly trained lifeguards watch over guests and provide safety instructions and directions to ensure a safe and fun place for everyone to enjoy.

Lifeguards cannot watch everyone all the time, so parents must actively supervise their children. For safety reasons, pregnant women, guests with certain pre-existing health issues, guests with casts, footwear, eye wear or any any hard or sharp objects are not permitted on any slides. Some slides and attractions have a maximum combined weight limit for riders.

TICKETS & ENTRY 

Where can I buy my entry ticket?

Tickets can be purchased from WhiteWater World on arrival, or you can beat the morning rush and buy your tickets online. All Dreamworld tickets provide entry to WhiteWater World also, so enjoy both rides and slides during your visit. 

Are all rides included in entry price?

WhiteWater World entry price includes unlimited use of all rides and attractions. Entry price excludes food & beverage, photos, games and retail purchases.

Are there any discounts?

Discounted tickets are available for pensioners and valid proof of identity is required. (Australia and NZ residents only). Disabled rates are also available as well as free entry for Carers holding the relevant, government approved, Carers Card. 

Can children come on their own?

Children 0 – 13 years must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian (minimum 16 years +)

Is there a spectator entry fee?

There are no special rates for visitors that do not wish to participate.

Can we exit the park during the day & come back later?

Yes, you can exit and return to the park as many times as you like during your day of visit.

 


IN THE PARK

What do I need to bring?

You’ll need to bring your swimwear, towel, hat and sunscreen. If there’s anything you do forget, WhiteWater World’s Beyond the Beach shop stocks all the essentials, as well as the very latest in swimwear and surf gear! If you’re visiting with children, it’s a great idea to supply each child with your mobile number and set up a familiar meeting place in case you get separated in park. Toddlers must be wearing waterproof nappies at all times. 

What is the clothing policy?

Our policy and our recommendation is to wear comfortable, sensible swimwear on the rides. Guests cannot ride in clothing that has any hard or sharp objects. eg belt buckles, rivets or studs. WhiteWater World is a family friendly attraction and as such only appropriate swimwear is permitted.

How can I protect my valuables while in park?

WhiteWater World has 558 electronic security lockers available for hire, coin or wristband operated.

Can we hire a stroller/wheelchair?

Strollers and wheelchairs are available for hire at the WhiteWater World Guest Services Office right next to Front Entry. You’ll be required to present your drivers license or some other form of identification upon hire.

Can we bring our own food & drinks in the park?

Non commercially prepared food and beverages can be brought in to WhiteWater World. Alcohol and commercially prepared food is not included. For Safety reasons, glassware and knives are strictly prohibited.  

Is there a Smoking Policy?

Queensland's anti-smoking laws prohibit smoking within four metres of any entrance to a building or in children's play areas. WhiteWater World is a smoke free environment however, designated smoking areas have been provided. You can find our where on the Park Map, we thank you in advance for your coorperation.

How can I get a job at WhiteWater World?
