Release Date: 27-07-2025

Two Aussie icons reunite as fans rediscover Australia’s favourite theme park
Dreamworld is thrilled to announce the return of Big Brother to its original home in 2025. The iconic reality series will once again be produced at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, where it first captured the nation’s imagination—reigniting a legacy that helped shape Dreamworld into Australia’s favourite theme park.
In a move that reunites two of the country’s most beloved entertainment brands, Big Brother will also return to its first-ever broadcaster, Network 10. Together, Dreamworld and Big Brother are set to deliver a new wave of unmissable television and renewed excitement at Dreamworld, inviting fans to rediscover Australia’s favourite theme park.
Production of Big Brother will begin on site in late 2025, with guests likely to catch glimpses of the house and live filming as part of their visit. The new Big Brother house will be built on Dreamworld grounds, offering fans a rare behind-the-scenes connection to the show that changed reality TV forever.
“We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Big Brother back home to Dreamworld.” said Greg Yong, Dreamworld CEO.
“This iconic show holds a special place in our story and in the hearts of millions of Australians. When we heard that Big Brother was returning to Network 10, there was only one place it could truly come home to - Dreamworld.
This full-circle moment celebrates the legacy, nostalgia, and larger-than-life entertainment that have helped shape us into Australia’s most beloved theme park.
We’re proud to be part of this exciting new chapter and look forward to sharing the magic of Big Brother’s return with fans across the country. Welcome home, Big Brother”
The return of Big Brother is the latest milestone in Dreamworld’s $150 million transformation, which has already seen the launch of Rivertown - a lush new world celebrating the wild heart of adventure—and the debut of Steel Taipan, a world-class rollercoaster redefining thrills on the Gold Coast.
Adding to the excitement, Dreamworld will also unveil its newest thrill ride, King Claw, by the end of 2025. A tribute to its legendary predecessor, The Claw - famously featured in the original Big Brother opening credits.
As Dreamworld reclaims its throne as Australia’s favourite theme park, the message is clear: Big Brother is back. Dreamworld is back. And it’s time to rediscover both.
