Dreamworld's Happy Halloween returns with one of Australia's largest trick-or-treat experiences

Dreamworld is set to transform after dark this October as Happy Halloween returns, bringing one of Australia's largest free trick-or-treat adventures back to the Gold Coast for a limited series of family fun nights.

The much-loved event will once again combine rides under the stars, festive entertainment, Halloween surprises and free trick-or-treating, giving families a chance to experience Australia's biggest theme park in a whole new way.

Every child ticket includes a Trick-or-Treat Guide, sending families on a sweet-filled adventure around the park as they solve riddles and collect delicious Halloween treats.

Thanks to event sponsor CTC Australia, one of the country's leading family-owned food and confectionery distributors, trick-or-treaters can fill their Halloween haul with favourites including Fini, Big Lolly, Swizzels Love Hearts and Swizzels Fizzers as they make their way around the park.

Beyond the treats, guests can immerse themselves in a world of Halloween magic, with themed décor, live entertainment, roaming surprises and appearances from Dreamworld favourites Kenny and Belinda dressed in their Halloween best.

Thrill-seekers can experience a selection of their favourite rides after dark, while families looking for something different can explore selected wildlife areas and discover iconic Australian animals after sunset, an experience rarely available during night-time events.

Adventurers can also put their detective skills to the test in the Creepy Quest, a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt that sends guests on a journey across the park to uncover clues and complete challenges before claiming a special prize from Gamesite.

Food lovers won't miss out either, with participating outlets serving a range of limited-edition Halloween-inspired snacks and beverages created especially for the event.

Guests are encouraged to arrive dressed in their Halloween best for Belinda's Boo-tiful Costume Contest presented by Harbour Town Premium Outlets. The competition offers a share of $1,000 in Harbour Town gift card prizes each event night, with entrants simply needing to share their costume using #dreamworldau for a chance to win.
