Motocoaster revving up for its final lap at Dreamworld

Dreamworld’s iconic thrill ride, Motocoaster, is revving up for one last ride, with the much-loved attraction set to permanently close on Monday 2 February 2026. Guests will have their final chance to ride on Sunday 1 February 2026.

First launching in 2007, Motocoaster has been a high-octane favourite for nearly two decades. Until 2022, the ride proudly raced under the name Mick Doohan Motocoaster, celebrating the legacy of the five-time world champion and adding to its legendary status.

With its final lap fast approaching, Dreamworld is inviting guests to feel the rush one last time, soak up the nostalgia and take a victory lap - or two - before the ride heads into retirement.

Whether you’re a long-time fan or a first-time rider, now’s the moment to buckle up and be part of Motocoaster’s final chapter as it takes the chequered flag at Dreamworld.
