Release Date: 19-06-2026

For the first time ever, on the night of Friday 26 June, Dreamworld will open the entire theme park after hours to welcome more than 2,500 invited guests from 22 charity partners for the first ‘Night of Dreams’ event - an exclusive, unforgettable evening designed to offer our special guests joy, connection and a much-needed break from everyday challenges.
Held the night before Dreamworld’s school holidays experience ‘Christmas in July’ and ‘Winterfest’ opens to the public, the magical experience will give our special guests a first look at the festive experience, with snow moments, ice skating, Santa and Mrs Claus appearances, ice tobogganing and a spectacular fireworks display.
The evening has been designed to create a space where families can simply enjoy being together, make lasting memories and experience the magic of Dreamworld in a welcoming, inclusive and joyful environment
Families attending ‘Night of Dreams’ will be among the very first to experience:
• A walk-through winter village
• An ice slide for frosty fun
• Ice skating experiences
• Santa and Mrs Claus appearances
• Larger-than-life Christmas lighting and festive photo moments
• Main Street snow “moments”
• A fireworks finale under the night sky
Festive add-on experiences will also be available, including roasting marshmallows by the fire, decorating gingerbread, collecting surprises at Santa’s Gift Grab, and posing for an Awkward Family Portrait in matching Dreamworld sweaters.
Dreamworld has worked closely with 22 charity partners to bring the evening to life, ensuring the focus remains on meaningful contribution rather than recognition.
As the first official experience of Dreamworld’s new Christmas in July event - a limited-capacity, ticketed night offering launching to the public on Saturday 27 June – ‘Night of Dreams’ sets the tone for a celebration built around shared moments and festive fun. ‘Night of Dreams’ is a Dreamworld initiative, reinforcing the park’s commitment to community, inclusion and creating experiences that bring people together.
Dreamworld CEO Greg Yong said the event is about creating a welcoming and memorable experience for families:
“‘Night of Dreams’ is about giving families a chance to step away from their everyday challenges and just be present together.
“It’s a night to feel the magic, create memories and experience Dreamworld in a way that’s welcoming, inclusive and full of joy,” Greg Yong said.
