Statement from Coast Entertainment Holdings on the Bondi Beach attack

The Board of Coast Entertainment and the management and employees of Dreamworld and SkyPoint wish to express their deep sadness at the tragic events at Bondi Beach on Sunday. What should have been a peaceful community gathering was instead marked by shocking acts of violence.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives, and our sincere support to everyone who has been injured, traumatised, or hurt by what occurred.

We stand with the Jewish community, who were directly targeted while celebrating Hanukkah — a time that should have been defined by light, safety and joy. We also acknowledge and thank the NSW Police Force, emergency services and first responders for their bravery and professionalism, and we recognise the members of the public who acted with courage to help others, especially those who did so in the face of grave danger to themselves.

We stand united in rejecting antisemitism, hatred and violence in all forms. In moments like this, we are reminded of the importance of standing together and reaffirming our shared values of respect, compassion, inclusion and community.
