The Scarecrow created by the Environmental Captains of Regents Park State School is named Pete! On his shoulder is his best friend Peeves the platypus. Together, their pet peeve is polluted waterways😠. We designed Pete and Peeves to encourage people to keep our water ways clean! Therefore, endangered and near threatened species like the platypus are happy and safe in their environment. All clothing and accessories were reused and donated by students’, staff and parents of Regents Park State School, except for the insides, which sugar cane was used.
