Please note that temporarily, the Dreamworld Express will depart Central Station, stop at Wildlife Station and then reverse back to Central Station while we construct our brand-new precinct, Rivertown! A diversion is in place to allow foot traffic through for the duration of the construction period. Thank you for your understanding!
With beautiful new carriages, offering improved safety and accessibility for all guests, the new-look Dreamworld Express is now departing a refurbished Central Park Station and we can't wait to welcome you all aboard!
With 108 seats available and departing approximately every 20 minutes from Central Park Station, climb aboard and enjoy a scenic trip around Dreamworld learning a few facts along the way!
All Passengers can now enjoy the carriage of their choice, with flexible seating ensuring companions or carers can be comfortably seated in the same carriages as guests in wheelchairs, guests using mobility aids or parents with prams.
Whether you're taking a scenic trip around the park, skipping to walk to access our Wildlife & Vintage Cars, or just putting your feet up for a perfect break during your theme park day, there's no better experience than a trip on the Dreamworld Express.

We're excited to announce the completion of our Dreamworld Express refurbishment project!
The new-look Dreamworld Express officially reopened in July 2022.
Brand new carriages are from a world-class supplier, offering improved safety, with lockable gates for the little ones, as well as being fully accessible, with access for guests using wheelchairs or mobility devices on every carriage!
During its closure, we've also taken the opportunity to make some improvements to the locomotive! We've made safety updates like the addition of improved visibility for drivers, as well as ensuring it's looking fresh for its reopening!
We love celebrating nostalgia here at Dreamworld, so we've also undertaken a full tidy-up and refurbishment of Central Station.
From tiny details like our miniature train on the clock tower, through to big advancements in raising our platform levels for improved accessibility.
As our park continues to change and develop, our train track does, too! The new track will shorten your wait time, heading from Central Park station, around Motocoaster and through to Wildlife Station, then past ABC KIDS World and back again! Plus, all crossings are being upgraded to ensure they are consistent across the park.
The Dreamworld Express was an original Dreamworld ride, opening on 15th December 1981. Since this time, millions of guests have enjoyed a joyful ride around the park on board the Dreamworld Express.
The 2021-2022 refurbishment project has ensured guests from all eras and abilities can continue to enjoy the experience and continue to relive the nostalgia for many generations to come.
